JRC Services: Building Relationships with Customers

Dedicated Contract Carriage is a customer-specific fleet, where the customer has exclusive use of a fleet of JRC trucks, trailers, and drivers for the movement and delivery of their products. Shippers that require dedicated fleets usually have specialized transportation needs that are best met with a customized service, and a JRC dedicated solution will provide a higher level of service and reliability compared to a standard one-way truckload carrier solution.

One-Way Capacity is a full truckload service, typically providing regional linehaul capacity or irregular-route networks with a longer length of haul. JRC can accommodate fluctuating volumes and offer capacity when you need it.

JRC Logistics Drop Trailer Program is an efficient and convenient solution that allows the shipper to pre-load freight on trailers prior to on-time pick-up. A JRC Driver or Carrier Partner will arrive to hook the loaded trailer, the empty trailer will be returned after the load is successfully delivered.

While some shippers and private fleets do this very well, most do not have the proficiency or internal resources to manage the transportation activity like a dedicated truckload carrier can. At some point, most private fleet operators have a conversation about retaining the fleet or brining in a dedicated carrier partner to manage the transportation. The decision to transition from a private fleet to a dedicated transportation partner is usually based on factors including costs, customer service, focus on core competencies, and liability.
