Meet the Officers of JRC
Whit Congdon
Chief Executive Officer
Whit has been with JRC since he founded the company in 2018 and represents the 4th generation of his family in trucking. As CEO, his main focus is on growing the company while maintaining the JRC brand of top tier safety and service. Whit began his career at his family’s company, Old Dominion Truck Leasing, spending time in each department to learn all aspects of the industry. He brings a background in truck leasing, maintenance, sales, dedicated contract carriage and finance.
Whit was born and raised in Richmond, VA where he still resides with his wife and 3 young children. He received his Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in accounting from the University of Richmond. When not at work, Whit enjoys fishing, watching sports and spending time with his family.
KC McCann
President & Chief Operating Officer
KC has been with JRC since February 2020, overseeing operations, safety, and recruiting. KC has over 25 years of experience in transportation and logistics and is highly skilled at building relationships and fostering a learning culture with demonstrated results in elevating teams. KC is passionate about working with people. He has a unique ability to keep them engaged, unleash their talents, and develop a high level of trust. KC’s leadership style includes establishing a clear vision and providing the appropriate feedback and coaching to drive results.
KC resides in Salt Lake City, UT with his wife and children. When KC is not working, he stays busy being a dad, coaching youth sports teams, and spending time in the mountains.
Colin McGlynn
Chief Commercial Officer
Colin has been with JRC since August 2020, overseeing the JRC Sales department, managing opportunities for new partnerships, building customer relationships, and strategic growth planning. Colin’s background includes Commercial Truck Leasing & Rental and providing solutions for customers at Hogan Truck Leasing, Rihm Family Companies, and Lawrence Transportation.
Colin received a bachelor’s degree in business from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and was a member of the NCAA Ice Hockey Team. Colin and his wife live in Minnetrista, Minnesota where they value spending time with family and friends. Colin has a passion for summertime boat days, winter snowmobile riding, playing hockey, health and fitness, tinkering in the garage, and, of course, trucks.
Josh Parsley
Chief Logistics Officer
Having a passion for revolutionizing supply chain networks, Josh brings an extensive background in supply chain and logistics. Josh joined JRC in 2021 and serves as Chief Logistics Officer. He focuses on the growth acceleration and the execution of our ambitious logistics and transportation networks.
Josh has nearly two decades of commercial experience holding senior leadership roles operating across global supply chain management, 3PL networks, and asset-based transportation. During this time, Josh oversaw operations, technology, business development, and strategy, as well as leading integrations through multiple acquisitions. Josh has worked on both sides of the desk in the Transportation/Supply Chain field, which allows him to better understand what JRC customers need, which is creating value through tailoring solutions for unique transportation needs by leveraging JRC's expertise.
Josh earned his bachelor’s degree from Hampden-Sydney College and an MBA from Longwood University. Looking to expand his logistics and project management expertise, he went on to earn a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. A native of Richmond, VA, Josh resides there with his wife and children, actively engaging with his community as a board member for multiple non-profit organizations.
Rob Taggart
Chief Information Officer
Rob Taggart is a seasoned information technology professional with over 27 years of experience in various administration and management roles. He has a strong background in the trucking industry, as well as experience in public transportation, K-12 education, and the cinema industry.
As CIO for a dedicated, truckload, and logistics company, Rob is responsible for driving innovation and continuous improvement in all areas of the organization. He believes in building strong, collaborative teams and fostering a culture of transparency and trust. Rob is committed to being responsive to the needs and concerns of drivers, team members, and customers while working to advance the company's technology capabilities.
